XenApp 5.0

Presentation Server is now XenApp

The current version of XenApp is 5.0 and licenses are available for purchase here. XenApp 5.0 licenses are backwards compatible and can be added to existing Presentation Servers version 3.0 and newer.

Citrix WinFrame, Citrix MetaFrame 1.8, and Citrix MetaFrame XP are no longer supported by Citrix or available for sale. If you are still using these technologies, you will see very noticeable performance improvements and enhancements to the end user experience when you migrate to XenApp 5.0. While it is not possible to add more licenses or install the newer versions of XenApp on top of these legacy platforms, our Citrix certified network engineers can help you safely migrate your applications and users over to XenApp 5.0. I own MetaFrame licenses already, can I migrate to XenApp 5.0 for free?

Yes, if you have kept current Subscription Advantage, you can migrate to XenApp 5.0 for free! More information on Subscription Advantage

If your Subscription Advantage has expired you will need to reinstate your subscription (or purchase new XenApp 5.0 licenses).
