Do I really need Terminal Server Licenses if I am using Citrix
XenApp?
Yes. Microsoft® Windows® Terminal Services is the underlying platform for Citrix
XenApp — the number one application virtualization solution for providing any
user with secure access to Windows applications from any device or location.
Citrix and Microsoft agree that Windows Terminal Services provides base-level
functionality designed for low-complexity environments. Complexity isn’t
necessarily associated with size or scale as XenApp provides significant
value-add for even the smallest deployments of Terminal Services.
